Brown Betty Teapots from England

Sad news from my supplier, it would seem that Brown Betty's are now made in CHINA!...I am researching to see if this is in fact the case.  If they are not made in England, I will not be offering them for sale, sorry.

Brown Betty Teapots are still made from traditional terracotta as used by the Elder brothers in 1695. Succeeding generations of English men have proven the Brown Betty, as these these Red Ware teapots have come to be affectionately known, make the best pot of tea.

The shape of the pot caused the tea leaves to be gently swirled around as the boiling water is added, thus producing an exquisite infusion.

Hand made at Cauldon Ceramics in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.  These teapots sell fast, if you missed out this time, try again soon, we try to re-order often.
